SEANA SMITH: Well, speaking of that storm that left thousands of travelers stranded, at least 50 people have died as a result of the winter storm that is sweeping across the US. That's according to various reports. Now, deaths have been reported in a number of states, including Colorado, Kansas, Kentucky, and Ohio.

28 of the reported deaths are in New York's Erie County. Now Erie officials are pleading with residents to stay off the road, going as far as bringing in military police to help enforce a driving ban on the city of Buffalo, which has been buried in up to 50 inches of snow.
