Ongoing attacks in Ukraine’s second-largest city Kharkiv continued to damage civilian areas, footage shot on March 13 shows.

This footage by Alex Lourie shows buildings, including apartment blocks, in the city’s historic center severely damaged. Burned cars can be seen lying on a debris-strewn street outside a mangled office building.

The UN reported on March 12 at least 596 civilians had been killed since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, adding that “the actual numbers are likely much higher.” Credit: Alex Lourie via Storyful
