'Truly Incredible' Satellite Imagery Shows Latest California Storm
Timelapse satellite imagery shows a mid-latitude cyclone moving ashore in the San Francisco Bay Area from March 21-22, according to the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA).
Two powerful atmospheric rivers brought dangerous flooding rain and snowfall to parts of California and Nevada on Tuesday, the CIRA said.
More storm systems were forecast to develop in the region over the next five days, the CIRA said.
