Military appreciation month is now underway, and to help kick things off, more than 175 veterans landed at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport Monday as part of an Honor Flight. The flight took off Monday morning from Phoenix. The veterans will travel to Washington D.C. on Tuesday to take part in an event at the World War II memorial to commemorate the organizations milestone of bringing 250,000 veterans to the nation's capital to visit the memorials that honor their service.
