3 Finalists Named In Search For New Chicago Police Superintendent
The Chicago Police Department is getting closer to having its next superintendent. The three final candidates that were announced on Thursday are: Dr. Cedric Alexander, a top law enforcement official from Georgia`s DeKalb County, Anne Kirkpatrick, a veteran police chief who has served in the Spokane and Seattle, Washington areas, and Eugene Williams, who is the Chief of Support Services for the CPD. Williams oversees the department`s $1.4 billion budget. He`s been on the force for 36 years.
