Brazil, Germany and Japan emphasize on need of more representative, legitimate and effective UNSC at G4 Summit

Brazil, Germany and Japan on Saturday emphasized on the need of more representative, legitimate and effective United Nations Security Council at G4 Summit in New York. German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff echoed and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe stressed on the fact that the G-4 countries are legitimate candidates for permanent membership in an expanded and reformed Council and supported each other's candidature. After the G-4 deliberations, Prime Minister Modi will travel to San Jose, California, where he will visit Tesla Motors and meet top officials of IT companies, including Tim Cook (Apple Inc.), Satya Nadella (Microsoft), Sundar Pichai (Google) and Shantanu Narayen (Adobe)
