Cape Town Shack Settlement Reduced to Ashes in Wildfire
Thousands of residents of an informal settlement in Hout Bay, on the southern fringe of Cape Town, were left homeless after a wildfire ripped through the area over the weekend.
Several people were killed and 15,000 displaced in the blaze at Imizamo Yethu that started early on Saturday, March 11, according to local media.
