Dramatically different stories emerge at Nero trial

Two dramatically different stories are emerging in the trial of Officer Edward Nero, one of six officers charged in the in-custody death of Freddie Gray. Prosecutors say Nero didn't follow proper training protocol during Gray's arrest, while the defense says he acted reasonably and in accordance with his training. Opening statements in Nero's trial wrapped up around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, the first day of the trial. Nero is the first officer to go on trial in the Gray case since Officer William Porter late last year.
