Drone Footage Captures Supermoon Looming Over Fort Wayne
The biggest and brightest supermoon since 1948 rose on the evening of November 13-14.
Supermoons occur when the moon turns full at the same time that its orbit is closest to Earth, and the November 14 supermoon marks the closest the full moon has been to Earth in the 21st century. The next supermoon of this magnitude is not expected until November 25, 2034, according to reports from NASA.
