Drone Footage Shows Extent of Wichita Flooding

Homes and businesses began their clean-up operations after almost six inches of rain fell on Wichita, Kansas, on July 2. The rain caused local radio station Classic County 170 AM to come off-air due to flooding in the lower level of KFDI studios.

One neighborhood in west Wichita was completely flooded as of Sunday afternoon, while city crews blocked the road at both ends to prevent cars driving through the high waters. Some residents used kayaks to move through the area.
