FAA Declares Super Bowl Stadium a 'No Drone Zone'
The US Federal Aviation Administration wants to make sure fans know Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, home of Super Bowl 50 on February 7, is a “no drone zone.” They shared their message in a video on February 3, reminding fans to bring jerseys, face paint and team spirit, but to leave their drones at home.
The FAA stated that temporary flight restrictions will prohibit certain aircraft, including drones, from operating within a 32-mile radius of the stadium on game day. Credit: YouTube/FAA
