'Jurassic World' closing in on USD 1 Bn at global box-office

'Jurassic World' is about to become the fastest film to cross 1 billion dollars mark at the international box office. According to media reports, Universal's blockbuster dinosaur flick, which has so far claimed 981.3 million dollars, may beat the record set by 'Furious 7' in 17 days, after 13 days in theaters. The Chris Pratt starrer film is now being eyed as a highest-grossing release of the year, with experts doubting if "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" would be able to compete with it.
