Landslides block Jammu-Srinagar national highway yet again

Restoration work was underway on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district which again got blocked due to landslides triggered by heavy rainfall. Giving details, Superintendent of Police, Shailendra Mishra said the overnight rains have caused landslides in different areas, mainly at Kheri and Moud, leaving travelers stranded. If sources are to be believed than nearly 1,500 vehicles are stranded due to the recent landslides.
