Lightning Strikes Northeast Kansas
A line of storms that formed in northern Kansas moved south on Thursday, September 10, bringing golf ball-sized hail and strong winds to the Wichita metro area. Trees were uprooted and some towns lost power, according to KWCH. The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for several counties, warning of heavy rain, wild wind and hail.
