Mummified body found on Mexico’s highest mountain
An expedition to recover a 50-year-old mummified body buried in snow on Mexico’s tallest mountain is planned for early Thursday.The mummified body was found by a group of hikers on March 1 on the north side of Pico de Orizaba, 17,390 feet above sea level.Situated at the border of Puebla and Veracruz states in south-central Mexico, the 18,400-foot mountain is the country’s tallest.
