Peshawar's Public Army School Marks First Anniversary of Massacre

Peshawar’s Army Public School has marked the first anniversary of a Taliban massacre on December 16, 2014, that left 144 people dead, including more than 100 children. This video shows the school on December 10, almost a year to the day of the attack. According to RFE, a new auditorium is being built to replace the hall where most of the victims were killed.

“The way these children have coped after the incident [is commendable]. They do not feel threatened or frightened here and do not complain,” Javaid Hussain, the school’s director of student affairs, said. Credit: YouTube/Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty
