Pigs Trudge Through Deep Maine Snow

A strong nor’easter dumped two feet or more of snow on Maine, leaving thousands in the dark on Friday, December 30, as residents began to dig out.

More than 120,000 customers were without power, and it could take days for service to be restored, according to reports.

The deep snow made it tough for people to get around, including for these pigs. L&L Farm, who posted this video, said they thought they’d have to dig the pigs out, but the pigs were able to plow through the snow with few problems. Credit: Instagram/L&L Farm via Storyful
