Pope Francis Scolds Fans for Pulling Him Onto Wheelchair User

Pope Francis displayed a rare flash of anger during his visit to Mexico, on Tuesday, February 16. The pontiff was nearing the final leg of his five-day tour of the country, with a visit to a stadium in Morelia. While greeting the crowds at the barrier, the pope found himself being pulled forward on top of a wheelchair user, and became uncharacteristically angry. He is seen here scolding the people for their over-zealous need to greet him.

The pope is heard to say “don’t be selfish!” to the people in the crowd.
