Protesters Demonstrate Near McDonald's HQ as Shareholders Meeting Takes Place

Protesters gathered for a second day near McDonald’s corporate headquarters in Oak Brook, Illinois, on May 22 to demand a pay increase as an annual shareholders meeting was held. According to local reports, hundreds of demonstrators took part in the previous day’s protest, and several dozen people were arrested.
