Red Crescent Tankers Seen in Damascus as Water Crisis Continues
Planned repair works to a pump station near Damascus were interrupted by fighting on the weekend of January 14-15.
A mediator negotiating between the Syrian regime and rebels in the Barada Valley, the source of much of Damascus’s water, was shot and killed during the clashes.
