Shenandoah National Park Wildfire Almost Fully Contained

The Rocky Mount Fire stood at more than 10,000 acres in Shenandoah National Park on Tuesday, April 26. The fire, which has been burning since April 16, is 75 percent contained, according to the incident report. The fire is the second largest in park history. The cause remains under investigation.
