Time Capsule From 1927 Opened Up At Elementary School

Students in Muscatine, Iowa take a deep dive into their history by cracking open a time capsule that used to be under an old elementary school. The new Jefferson Elementary just opened up, so Tuesday`s time capsule event was another step in breaking the new place in by breaking a piece of the old Jefferson Elementary open. The capsule sat underneath the old building since 1927, and on Tuesday, inside the new building, they opened the capsule up for the first time to see what was inside. Students, staff and district leaders waited with anticipation for what they were able to find, and the discoveries didn`t disappoint.
