Ventura Brush Fire Damages 22 Acres
A brush fire burned 22 acres and was 80 percent contained on March 13 in Ventura, California. The first started on March 12 and caused 150 students and staff at the nearby Brooks Institute to be evacuated, according to local media. The Ventura County Fire Department public information officer reported on Twitter firefighters would be on scene all day. Additionally, high humidity helped with the fight against the brush fire.
