Windy Conditions in Bermuda as Hurricane Nicole Approaches

Strong winds battered Bermuda’s northern coast on October 10 as the island prepared for Hurricane Nicole’s impact.

With a hurricane warning in effect for all of Bermuda, the National Weather Service (NWS) warned that the Category 4 hurricane was extremely dangerous.

The core of Hurricane Nicole was expected to pass over Bermuda on Thursday, and the NWS said that water levels around the island territory may rise by six to eight feet due to a storm surge. Credit: Instagram/Carla Zuill
