World Leaders Stage Unity March Following Deadly Paris Attacks

More than 40 world leaders took part in a unity rally in Paris on January 11. The solidarity march against a series of attacks that started with the shooting at the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo and left 17 people dead across northern France this week, drew an estimated 1.3 million people.

Linking arms, British Prime Minister David Cameron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas were some of the world leaders who joined French President Francois Hollande for the rally in central Paris.
