WWII Japanese Battleship Musashi Found After 70 Years
Japanese battleship Musashi was found near the Philippines more than 70 years after it was sunk by American forces during World War II. The Musashi was revered as one of the world’s largest and most technologically advanced battleships in naval history, according the ship’s discoverers. The ship sank on October 24, 1944 – but was never found.
