Yemeni Americans Pray During NYC Protest Against Immigration Ban
Yemeni business owners shut down their stores across New York City on Thursday, February 2, to protest President Donald Trump’s executive order suspending immigration from seven Muslim-majority counties, including Yemen.
The stores shut down around noon before the business owners and their supporters attended a rally at Brooklyn Borough Hall. Many of the attendees were flying American flags, and they also took a break for regular prayers in the middle of the protest, which can be seen in this video.
