What to watch next week: Corporate earnings, economic data, Biden's re-election announcement

- Closing time here at Yahoo Finance. Let's get you caught up on next week's events. Next week going to be all earnings. On Monday, we hear from Coca-Cola and Whirlpool. Tuesday, we get the results from GM, jetBlue, Pepsi, and Chipotle. We also hear from two tech giants, Microsoft and Google parent Alphabet. Wednesday, brings numbers from Boeing, Meta, eBay, and Mattel. Thursday, the big ones come after the bell, Intel and Amazon.

- We will also be getting some key economic data next week. On Tuesday, we will get data on home prices and new home sales, along with consumer confidence, Wednesday is durable goods orders. Thursday, we get the first look at Q1 GDP numbers. We will also get personal income and spending data along with consumer sentiment.

- And finally, it's widely believed that President Biden will formally announce that he is running for President in 2024. Biden has made it clear he is running for re-election but has yet to properly make an announcement.
