Winter Storm Hits Western Missouri

A winter storm impacting thousands of people across the south-central United States brought snow and wind to western Missouri early Wednesday morning, February 2.

Video taken by Mark Zinn shows windy scenes in St Joseph, north of Kansas City, before sunrise on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service forecast accumulations up to two inches in the area and as high as 11 inches in other regions. The weather service said Wednesday morning’s commute would be “very tough.” Credit: Mark Zinn via Storyful
