韓國維和部隊南蘇丹開課 訓練青年種植作物

【陳中寬/花嘉忻 編譯】 2018-09-24 Mrata 韓國維和 musa psluhay knkla hmuma bbiyax tgtruma 蘇丹 南蘇丹這片將近3公頃的農地上，一群南蘇丹青年正在辛勤工作，他們都是農業訓練課程的學員。這項訓練課程是由來自韓國的維和部隊所主辦，12週的課程中，當地青年學習種植玉米、芹菜、小黃瓜等作物的技巧，課程結束之後，他們會各自回到家鄉務農，為自己創造更好的生活。 (農業課程學員 Peter Mathiei： Tnegsaan mhuma Peter Mathiei It is something good, 這是一件好事 because the knowledge that we have acquired here, 因為我們這裡獲得的知識 we are going to do it there in the community, 會帶回自己的社區 because when we will be delivered here [graduate from here], 我們畢業之後 we are going to open up our farms, 會自己經營農場 we dig and we cultivate our crops. 耕耘 種植作物 Therefore, if we sell the crops, 如果可以把作物賣出去 we are going to have money, 就可以賺錢 and that is self-employment. 這就是養活自己) 南蘇丹在2011年獨立建國，但是獨立後不到2年，卻陷入內戰，不但讓許多國民流離失所，更摧毀了南蘇丹的農業與糧食生產。現在南蘇丹估計有三分之二的國民，必須仰賴國際的糧食救援，才能勉強填飽肚子。今年8月，內戰雙方終於簽署了和平協議，南蘇丹的人民也開始期待，可以重建家園。 (農業課程講師 Manyok Abraham： Emptgsa mhuma Manyok Abraham Conflict only brought poverty, 衝突只帶來貧窮 but agriculture can bring welfare of the people. 但農業可以帶來人民福祉 And also the current situation 而且現在情況 is different from the time of conflict. 也跟衝突時不同了 You can see that the communities 可以看到 不同族群 are now working together here in Hanbit - 在這裡都能通力合作 so it's a sign that working together 代表如果可以一起 as a community through agriculture 在農業上共同合作 can eradicate conflicts and hunger at the same time. 就可以同時消除衝突與飢餓) 訓練課程開始後，學員們種的黃瓜已經收成，可以去當地市場上賣，另外他們也栽種成熟特別快的玉米，希望可以快快提升國內糧食產量。雖然未來的挑戰還是很多，但對於這群青年來說，這項課程是向更好的未來，跨出了第一步。 [原民台新聞影音報導]
