Aston Martin celebrates 100 years at French Grand Prix
STORY: Aston Martin is bringing back an icon
to celebrate 100 years of competing at the French Grand Prix
(Aston Martin driver, Sebastian Vettel) “First of all it's great to find out, or to know, that this car is still alive, it still runs. It's in such good shape.”
The team’s original TT1 race car, known as ‘Green Pea’
will be driven around the Circuit Paul Ricard
by four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel
(Aston Martin driver, Sebastian Vettel) “The car is now about 100 years old so it's crazy to imagine how long it's been around, but great to see that it's still there, and I'm very much looking forward to getting behind the wheel. I guess it will be very, very different to what I'm used to, but that's the whole idea of it, to really try and link the stories of current and let's say the beginning, so definitely very excited."
