The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden announced that Bibi the hippo gave birth to her calf on Wednesday, August 3.
The zoo reported the mom and calf are doing well. The birth makes Cincinnati’s beloved Fiona a big sister.
The zoo explained the pair “will remain off habitat for about 2 weeks to bond.”
