Crowds Flock to Las Vegas Amid Reopening
Visitors have continued to flock to Las Vegas since it began reopening earlier in June, despite the ongoing risk of the coronavirus.
This footage was taken on the evening of Friday, June 12, at the Fremont Street Experience, a pedestrian mall in central Las Vegas. As with other footage taken that weekend, the video shows the promenade as busy.
Though the area is open to the public, management had to halt plans to restart live entertainment shows on stage at the promenade due to coronavirus restrictions.
In the meantime, social distancing measures have been attempted, including the addition of directions on how far apart to stand from other visitors and service employees.
