Damage in Petrinja After Strong Earthquake Strikes Central Croatia

A magnitude-6.4 earthquake hit Croatia on Tuesday, December 29, the second earthquake to rock the country in as many days.

The European Mediterranean Seismological Center said the earthquake struck southeast of Zagreb about 11:20 am local time.

This footage, posted by the Croatian Red Cross on Tuesday, shows damage in Petrinja. Initial reports said Tuesday’s earthquake caused widespread damage.
