Davis Stabbings: May 2, 2023 updates at 11 p.m.

Authorities in Davis are searching for a suspect after two men were stabbed to death and a woman critically injured in recent days, something the police chief said has been unprecedented in the small university town. Police are searching for a young man in connection with witness descriptions of the attacker in two of the cases, though officials have not officially linked the three stabbings. The city sent out an alert to residents around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday calling for a shelter in place. That shelter-in-place has since been lifted and police are calling for people to remain vigilant.
