Dolly Parton to star in musical about Taco Bell's Mexican pizza on TikTok

Parton took to social media on May 9 to share that she's nabbed the lead role in "Mexican Pizza: The Musical". The cover of the screenplay states that the musical is "based on the true story of the Internet losing its mind" when Taco Bell removed the Mexican Pizza from its menu in 2020. NBC News reports the musical draws inspiration from TikTok star Victor Kundra's parod .based on Doja Cat's jingle that went viral in March. Parton, who just so happens to love Taco Bell, told Insider in January that she thought the chain should bring the Mexican Pizza back.
