'Endurance' shipwreck found beneath Antarctic ice
STORY: The Endurance ship has been found off the coast of Antarctica
The lost vessel belonged to Antarctic explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton
It was crushed by sea-ice and sank in 1915
Previous attempts to locate the shipwreck had failed
The Endurance22 mission managed to track the vessel down
using advanced underwater vehicles
fitted with high-definition cameras and scanners
Footage shows Endurance to be in a remarkable condition
even though it's been sitting in 10,000 ft of water for over a century
