Firefighting Helicopters Refill Water Tanks near California Wildfires
Helicopters being used to wage an aerial fight against Northern California’s Pocket Fire could be seen refilling their water tanks in Cloverdale, California, on October 11.
The videos show multiple helicopters dipping into a standing body of water, refilling tanks being used to help suppress the wildfires that have been burning since earlier this week.
At the time of writing, a total of 16 fires had burned more than 170,000 acres of Californian land, killing at least 29 and leaving hundreds of others missing, officials said. Credit: Instagram/jadeyjennings via Storyful
