JPMorgan upgrades Caterpillar stock, adding it to the ‘Analyst Focus List’

Yahoo Finance Live takes a look at Caterpillar shares after receiving an upgrade from J.P. Morgan analysts.

- My pick today is Caterpillar. JP Morgan adding the stock to its analyst focus list, naming it a near term idea.

Now, the bank has had an overweight rating on Caterpillar saying that its quote, "upside potential is under appreciated by investors." It is a trending ticker on Yahoo Finance today.

Shares hit a record high earlier. And you can see gains still up almost 2% on the day. They're up about 7% so far since the start of this year, up 47% in the past six months. So certainly an outperformer when so many names in the market have really struggled in recent months.

- Yeah. Yeah.
