Lottery players buy tickets as Powerball jackpot grows to $1.2B

The big Powerball jackpot is back again -- and this time it's $1.2 billion. If the excitement wasn't building on Monday, when the jackpot was $1 billion, it was definitely building Wednesday for $1.2 billion -- the second-largest jackpot in Powerball history, and now, fourth-largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history. Maryland Lottery officials told 11 News there has been an uptick in play around the state, and they're reminding people to play within their means.
