Major Rainfall Floods Northwestern Arkansas
Severe weather affected the southern US on Wednesday, April 28, causing extreme flooding in northwestern Arkansas that blocked roads and complicated travel.

The National Weather Service (NWS) had issued multiple flash flood warnings on the afternoon of April 28, from east-central Oklahoma into far northwestern Arkansas, with a flood watch continuing into April 29.
