RACHELLE AKUFFO: We're just minutes away from the closing bell on this volatile day. Let's bring in Yahoo Finance's Jared Blikre to break down all the market action. Hey, Jared.
JARED BLIKRE: Hi, there. And it has been a seesaw day. It started out in the red, briefly touched the green in the NASDAQ, and then we are ending in about the middle of that range. And I want to check out the sector action today. Haven't seen too much volatility in the sectors. Energy and tech currently in the green by a very, very small amount. Utilities, consumer discretionary, materials, all of those off by 1%.
And let's take a look at the NASDAQ 100. We do have some standouts. Chinese stocks, as I was talking about earlier, off of those Alibaba earnings, those are getting a jump. Baidu up 5%. But when we look at some of the standouts to the downside, Airbnb down about 5%, Netflix down 3 and 1/2. Intuit, that's down about 3%. Let's take a look at the energy sector. And you can see kind of a mixed board. ConocoPhillips up about 1 and 1/2%.
