Medical Workers Tend to Injured After Knife Attack in Marseille

French police responded to a reported stabbing attack in central Marseilles, France, on February 19, later saying the suspect had been “neutralized.”

Local media reported that several people were injured in the attack, and that the attacker was shot dead by police. They added that police had cordoned off 300 meters of La Canebière, a major thoroughfare in the center of the city.
