Miley Cyrus, Bieber, Shakira sing for COVID-19 relief concert

The initiative, called "Global Goal: Unite For Our Future," aims to raise billions of dollars in private and public donations to help lessen the impact of the pandemic on vulnerable and marginalised communities by coordinating "the development of COVID-19 tests, treatments and vaccines, and to ensure equitable access to everyone, everywhere", according to the event's press release.

The two-hour concert followed a historic summit earlier in the day that raised $6.9 billion in pledges from governments, corporations and philanthropists around the world.
