Residents Clean Up After Ecuador Volcano Spews Ash for Several Miles
Ash fell in several areas west of Ecuador’s Sangay volcano in the early hours of Tuesday, April 13, officials said.
The volcano has had several eruptions since 2019 and is one of the most active in Ecuador. The activity on Tuesday spewed ash for several miles and suspended operations at an airport in the port city of Guayaquil.
