RSF Address Sudanese People, Armed Forces From Presidential Palace
Members of the Rapid Support Forces addressed the Sudanese public from outside the New Republic Palace in Khartoum in a video published on May 1.
Speaking in the footage, a member of the RSF says that it was filmed on April 30. He says, “We are now […] appealing to all the armed forces and the honorable people of the armed forces that we are not an enemy to them, but we want to preserve the power of the people.”
The RSF claimed control of the palace on April 15. Since then, hundreds of people have been killed amid fighting between the RSF and Sudan’s armed forces. Credit: Rapid Support Forces via Storyful
