Severe Storms Cause Damaging Flooding in Northern Mississippi
A flash flood emergency was declared for several parts of northern Mississippi after as much as 10 inches of rain fell in some areas, local reports said.
Okolona resident Quineisha Judd shared this video of Adams Street, which was under several inches of water on Wednesday morning.
Vehicles were reported submerged in floodwaters, and at least one person had to be rescued from a home in Ecru, a city northwest of Tupelo, according to reports.
