Typhoon Rain Lashes Southern Japan
Strong winds and driving rain were seen in Japan’s Kagoshima prefecture on September 5 as Typhoon Hinnamnor affected the region.
Footage recorded by Twitter user @nekowassyoi shows conditions in Makurazaki, a city on Japan’s southwestern coast.
Japan’s Meteorological Agency said the typhoon was expected to move north-northeast into the Sea of Japan and become an extratropical cyclone by the evening of September 6.
“Beware of high waves accompanied by storms and swells, especially in northern Japan,” the agency warned. Credit: @nekowassyoi via Storyful
