Clashes Reported Between Syrian Forces and Rebels in East Damascus

Following days of hit-and-run clashes between the Syrian army and opposition factions in east Damascus, rebels claimed to have made advances in Jobar and elsewhere on March 21, pro-opposition media said.

Pro-government media reported that rebels carried out a suicide attack near a textile factory in the early morning and managed to advance in some areas.
