Fiji Floods Wash Away Road

Authorities in Fiji have evacuated hundreds of people to safety after a tropical depression brought torrential rain, flooding and landslides to the Pacific island nation on December 16.

Forecasters have warned that Tropical Disturbance TD04F could strengthen into a tropical cyclone on Friday, as it sweeps southeast past Fiji’s main island, Suva. This video shows a road washed out by flood water near Waidamudamu, Suva. Credit: Facebook/Abigail Shimona via Storyful
